For Editors

Gümüşhane University Journal of Health Sciences consists of a chief editor and field editors, who are appointed by the chief editor to manage the peer-review works of the relevant articles on behalf of the chief editor. Field editors are jointly responsible for the journal's content and provide feedback on the journal's discipline and quality. They also advise on the selection of refereeing committee members.

Editors;
- At least two referees should be appointed to the article within 15 days at the latest, and they should make a decision by providing the evaluations of the appointed referees as soon as possible.
- It should ensure the progress/completion of the process by sending warning messages to referees and authors when necessary and on time.
- If necessary, he should appoint a referee again.
- It should not allow any conflict or conflict of interest that may exist between the authors and the referees.
- Referee opinions should be decisive in decision making. However, it does not take its decision entirely based on the opinions of the referees; He realizes that they are just consultants.
- All editors must comply with the guidelines prepared for journal editors by the International Committee of Publication Ethics (COPE).
